NATALIE PROSSER

Natalie Prosser is a solicitor by background, with fifteen years in government, specialising in public and regulatory law, regulatory operations and governance. Her previous roles have included General Counsel at the Gambling Commission, Director of Operations, Vocational and Technical Qualifications and Director of Legal at Ofqual and regulatory and policy lead on the independent Farm Inspection and Regulation Review. Natalie started her role as Interim CEO of the OEP in February 2021 and was appointed to the role permanently in April 2022.

NICOLA RILEY

Nicola is a senior energy specialist with over 22 years’ experience managing assets and delivering complex technical and commercial projects within time and budget constraints. A respected leader, Nicola’s project experience includes the identification, development and delivery of wind and renewable energy projects from feasibility to financial close, negotiation and management of high value construction contracts, bid process management, due diligence, grid connection, offtake arrangements and asset management.

Tom was a member of the Council of English Nature, the statutory advisor to the British Government on biodiversity from 1999-2005. During 2002 he served as an advisor to the Central Policy Group in the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office. He was Special Adviser to three Secretaries of State for the Environment from 1991-97, after serving as Director of the Green Alliance from 1982-1991. He also served on the London Sustainable Development Commission from 2002-5. In 1993 he was appointed to the United Nations Environment Programme's 'Global 500' roll of honour, and in 1997 was appointed CBE for services to the environment.

Josh founded Fothergill Training & Consulting in 2017, specializing in enhancing the effectiveness of environmental assessment through both capacity building, intelligent client roles and advisory reviews.

Peter Bruce is a Principal and Global Sector Lead for Renewable Energy with Ramboll Environment and Health. Peter is a Chartered Environmentalist with deep experience in onshore wind farm, solar and battery site feasibility, design, impact assessment, route optioneering for electricity transmission, substation site selection, environmental due diligence, construction environmental management, auditing and condition compliance monitoring roles.

Dr Vicky Hutchinson is Director of the Environment Practice within Atkins. She brings together 550 environmentalists, economists and social scientists to respond to challenges ranging from tackling the climate emergency and delivering a low carbon future, to looking beyond apprenticeships to understand how social value is created through buildings, infrastructure and the green spaces between them. She was previously Head of Social Value at ISG.

Zero Carbon Humber, H2H Saltend and Humber Industrial Cluster Plan as well as supporting the wider development of UK hydrogen value chains. He is a Chartered Engineer with a broad energy industry background in operations & technical leadership and project development across
petrochemicals, oil & gas and gas storage and is now applying that experience to industrial decarbonisation and the energy transition.

Tom is an ecological economist and is based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Previously, Tom worked as an economist at Scottish non-departmental government body NatureScot and helped to develop the natural capital approach at local and national levels, including the world’s only non-monetary national natural capital indicator.

Previously, Alice was a Senior Analyst at Enders Analysis, a London-based TMT research group. She holds an MA in Geography from the University of St Andrews.

He holds the position of Director at Tetra Tech and is Head of Geothermal & Groundwater Services in the UK and Ireland. Over the last 20 years Conor has focused on the management of groundwater and the use of geothermal resources.Conor has assessed the feasibility, designed and tested hundreds of groundwater and geothermal boreholes domestically and internationally.
